meteor

a solar rock
came raging down
and hit the ground

but it wasn't long before
the dust had settled
from the other rock

when the dust rose
and the people gathered
and the trees shook

but i'm so delighted by this rock
because this particular rock
was massive and it hit hard

so the townsmen sneered
and the women watched
as the animals gathered

the dust rose again
from the ground
and silence took the town

they looked around 

and they saw
the clearest damn dust
they had ever seen

and clarity was found
